Day by Day Itinerary
ITINERARY:
Welcome to the Land of Lights, Fethiye
Day 1: Arrival in Fethiye
Arrival at Dalaman Airport. Private transfer to your accommodation in Fethiye. Free time to relax or explore the coastal town.
Day 2 : Ören Canyon Hes 1-Çaygözü
Ören Canyon, located 35 km from Fethiye. The canyon is shaded by steep rock walls and filled with refreshing water. You’ll wade through shallow pools, walk under small cascades, and pass through narrow passages. It’s a perfect introduction to canyon hiking with water.
The 4-hour trek features cool streams and shaded paths, perfect for hot weather.
Day 3: Ören Canyon (Karanlık İç Canyon) – HES 2
HES 2 is the continuation of the canyon, deeper and more water-intensive. You may need to swim across deeper pools and navigate narrow gorges. There are optional cliff jumps for the adventurous (ensure safety and local guidance). This section feels more remote and wild, with lush greenery and crystal-clear water. The shade and water keep you cool in the heat.
Day 4: Göcek Karacaören Kızıldere Canyon
Head to Göcek for a 25 km drive to Kızıldere Canyon. This canyon is known for its pristine turquoise water and lush surroundings. The trail follows a river with several waterfalls and natural pools. Some sections require swimming or using ropes (if rappelling). The water is cold and refreshing, perfect for hot summer days. The trail offers natural shade and water wading opportunities.
Day 5: Köyceğiz Toparlar Canyon
Toparlar Canyon is one of the most popular canyons in the region. The route includes deep water sections, waterfalls you can jump from (or rappel), and long stretches of wading and swimming. wading through refreshing streams under shaded cliffs, perfect for hot days.
Day 6: Ören Paşalı Karadağ Canyon
Explore Ören Paşalı Karadağ Canyon, a hidden gem with cool streams and rugged terrain, ideal for a final summer adventure. This lesser-known canyon offers a more tranquil experience. It’s a narrow gorge with a stream running through it, perfect for cooling off. You’ll pass through shaded paths and shallow pools. It’s great for families or those who want a relaxing canyon hike without jumps or technical difficulty. Enjoy shaded trails and water crossings.
Day 7: Departure
Transfer to Dalaman Airport for your return flight. End of your Lycian Way hiking holiday.

Luggage transfers & logistics : Luggage transfer on hiking (Walking) days is included and your baggages will transferred from departure point to the finish
Meal Arrangements: Breakfast and dinner will be provided at accommodations. Lunch will be picnic or takeaway food with fruits during the trekking days.
